A Merry Kristy Visit!

What a blessing to have Kristy visit!  She arrived at a very busy time - end of the school year activities were in high gear - but it was awesome to have her by my side as we attended the ballet recital, the Aranui Primary School Kapa Haka and Christmas program/Prize giving assemblies, and had some time for adventures of our own, too.  Here's a wrap up in pictures...

Beautiful ballet recital
Ben and Julia dressed and ready for the Kapa Haka

Prize giving - Ben received awards for Interschool football (soccer) and cross country

Mimi ready for the Room 11 End-of-the-year dinner

Kristy and I tried Cronuts (a cross between a croissant and donut) - yummy!

We also made a semi-homemade Pavlova - which was amazing!

Burger Fuel in Palmy!

Last day of school
Julia and Miss Wells, her Room 1 teacher

The kids and Miss R - their principal and Julia's first teacher at Aranui

Ben and Miss J

We did a 10K walk from Kai Iwi beach to Castlecliff beach
My dad dropped us off and we walked home.
It was amazing!

We made it!
It was a busy time and it was filled with so many memories.  Thank you so much for travelling so far to visit us, Kristy!  Your visit was just what I needed to get me through - I'm looking forward to getting home and tackling Pavlova with you!!
